Return and Exchange Policy for Need Packaging

At Need Packaging, customer satisfaction and premium manufacturing quality are at the core of everything we do. We take pride in delivering precision-crafted custom boxes, stickers, labels, apparel, and marketing print collateral. Because all of our products are manufactured to your exact custom specifications, artwork, dimensions, and material choices, our return, replacement, and exchange guidelines are tailored to the unique nature of custom printing and packaging.

1. Custom Made-to-Order Products Overview

Every product manufactured by Need Packaging is unique and made-to-order according to customer-approved specifications. Since custom-printed products cannot be restocked, repurposed, or resold to other clients, all sales are final once approved and processed into production, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects or errors caused directly by Need Packaging.

2. Digital Proof Approval & Pre-Press Policy

Prior to moving any order to our printing and die-cutting presses, our prepress design team provides a comprehensive digital 2D/3D proof detailing dimensions, dieline structure, orientation, color breakdown, bleed margins, and artwork placement. Production begins only after you have reviewed and formally approved the digital proof.

• Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for reviewing all elements of the digital proof, including spelling, grammar, font styling, dates, contact details, barcode placement, and image resolution before granting approval.

• Approved Proof Binding: Once a proof is approved by the client, Need Packaging produces the order exactly as shown in the approved file. Any error that was present in the approved proof will not qualify for a complimentary reprint, exchange, or refund.

3. Return & Exchange Eligibility

We stand firmly behind our manufacturing standards. If your delivered order fails to match the specifications confirmed in your approved digital proof due to an error on our part, we will gladly initiate an exchange, free replacement reprint, or appropriate credit. Eligible conditions include:

• Structural & Manufacturing Defects: Incorrect box dimensions, faulty glue seams, structural die-cutting misalignment, defective scoring/creasing, or material delamination differing from agreed specifications.

• Printing & Finishing Errors: Major print misregistration, missing design elements shown on the approved proof, wrong lamination finish (e.g., Gloss applied instead of Matte), or ink smearing caused during production.

• Incorrect Product or Quantity Shortage: Receipt of a completely different product style or significant quantity discrepancy compared to your invoiced order.

4. Non-Eligible Items & Exceptions

Due to the custom nature of our manufacturing workflow, returns, exchanges, or refunds cannot be accepted under the following circumstances:

• Errors present in client-supplied artwork files that were approved during the digital proofing stage (including typos, low-resolution raster imagery, improper color mode conversions, or incorrect dimensions submitted by the customer).
• Minor color variations between digital monitor displays (RGB) and physical ink press outputs (CMYK/Pantone), or subtle hue differences across diverse substrates (such as Kraft paperboard vs. Bleached SBS vs. Corrugated fluting vs. Vinyl).
• Customer change of mind, delayed marketing campaigns, internal business cancellations, or design changes requested after production has started.
• Damage resulting from improper handling, incorrect assembly, extreme weather exposure, moisture, or improper storage after delivery.

5. Reporting Window & Claim Submission Timelines

We encourage customers to inspect their complete shipment immediately upon delivery. To be eligible for an exchange, reprint, or credit, any claim regarding defect, damage, or quantity variance must be submitted in writing within 3 to 5 business days of carrier delivery confirmation. Claims received after this timeframe may not be eligible for review or resolution.

6. Step-by-Step Return & Exchange Procedure

If you believe your order contains a manufacturing defect or error, please follow these simple steps to submit a claim:

• Step 1 - Contact Our Support Team: Email us at info@needpackaging.com or call 1 (321) 785-8489 with your Order Number, account name, and a clear description of the issue.

• Step 2 - Provide Visual Evidence: Attach 4 to 6 high-resolution photos and/or a short video showing the defect clearly, including close-ups, full-product shots, packaging labels, and a sample of multiple units illustrating the variance.

• Step 3 - Quality Assurance Review: Our QA department will investigate the claim against your approved digital proof and production logs within 1 to 2 business days.

• Step 4 - Resolution & Remedy: If the claim is verified, we will arrange an expedited reprint and dispatch a replacement batch at zero additional cost to you. If Need Packaging requires the defective units to be returned for physical inspection or recycling, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

7. Shipping Damages & Carrier Claims

All orders are carefully packaged in durable outer cartons to prevent damage during transit. If your parcel arrives with visible shipping damage caused by the carrier:

• Note the damage on the delivery slip prior to signing with the carrier driver.
• Take immediate photographs of the damaged shipping box, carrier tracking label, and affected interior products.
• Notify Need Packaging customer support within 48 hours of delivery so our logistics team can file a carrier claim and expedite replacement manufacturing.

8. Order Cancellation Policy

• Before Proof Approval: Orders may be cancelled prior to digital proof sign-off for a full refund minus any custom design setup fees already incurred.

• After Proof Approval / In Production: Once a proof is approved and the order is routed to raw material prep, plate creation, or printing presses, cancellations cannot be accepted as labor, materials, and machinery time have already been allocated.
